It’s been a while since I posted anything about eBay, even though I’m still actively involved. Because of this and because it’s the New Year, I wantes to share this post with you. There are 2 free eBay related ebooks here, if you are interested. Nothing to pay & no sign up required.

My Webalizer stats show that I have had 2111 visits to my blog so far in December and what does Google say? Since 12/9 I have 84 visits!

WOW! What a huge difference!

Now, I’m no expert on either Webalizer or Google Analytics, but something has got to explain this difference. I have my Google code in my footer, which I have been told is a good place for it.

Hummmm… I’d be interested in hearing from you. Are you noticing this? Do you have any explanations? Let me know!

List Building Site (http://www.betterlistbuilding.com):

Here is the breakdown of the 43 visits to my site: 16 were direct visits, 16 were from Twitter, 10 were from my lists and 1 was from Google.

I believe that the majority of the 16 direct visits were from my use of MyMadMailer.com, which is a paid-for bulk safelist submission service I’ve been using for about a week, but I don’t know for sure.

I do like the fact that just over 1/3 of my visitors came from Twitter, since I’ve been putting a lot of effort into my Twitter profile. You can see it here: http://twitter.com/clintherman

I sent 1 email out to my subscriber lists so far and got 10 visitors, which is very poor. I’ll have to take a better look at this because this is less than 1% of my list.

Finally, I had 1 visitor who found me by searching Google with the keyword “list building”. This is a very solid keyword and I like this. I did a search on Google for this term and checked the 1st 3 pages of search results and did not find my site listed. Also, doing a google search for “site:betterlistbuilding.com” (without quotes) did not come up with anything, so it doesn’t appear that my site is listed on Google yet. I’m not an expert in this, so I might be missing something here.

Blog (http://clintherman.com):

Here is the breakdown of the 77 visits to my site: 40 were direct visits, 10 were from Twitter, 9 were from Google, 5 were from garryparkes.com, 5 were from johnthornhillcoaching.com, 2 from were facebook.com, 2 were from search / organic, 1 was from andresmarketingevolution.com and 1 was from dougstewartonline.com.

Like with my list building site, I believe the 40 direct visitors were from MyMadMailer.com, but again, I don’t know for sure.

Only having 10 visitors from Twitter is a little disappointing, as I have really been promoting my blog there. I’d like to boost this.

I had 9 visitors from Google from 9 different search terms: “refund’”+”alex jeffreys coaching”, alex jeffrey, alex jeffreys, can i withdraw an ebay offer, has anyone used ebay arbitrage the complete guide to flipping, how to cancel an ebay bid, link:http://greatgiveawayguide.com/, traffic generation strategies and withdrawing best offer bid ebay. I like seeing searches for Alex Jeffreys name leading to my site and I want more! The keyword “traffic generation strategies” is also good.

I had 14 visitors referred from other sites, including other coaching student’s blogs from John Thornhill, who is an eBay guru and a good coach, and from my Facebook profile. One thing to note is that I only had 7 visitors from other student blogs, which is very low to me, considering the amount of time I’ve put into this. I really hope this increases.

I don’t know have any more info on “search / organic”, but there were only 2 visitors from this source, so I won’t investigate it unless I start getting more visitors.
